摘要
Michael Tierney was on a mission to build the perfect marshmallow for s'mores, but it wasn't until he met DJ Marshmello at the Forbes Under 30 Summit that the idea came to fruition. Instead of taking an endorsement deal, Mello went in with an equity-based deal to secure his stake in the company. Stuffed Puffs quickly became a top seller at Walmart, and Tierney believes it won't be long until we see a Stuffed Puffs marshmallow donning DJ Marshmello's face.
Before Stuffed Puffs, Tierney founded Arizona-based Mikey’s in 2014 and now sells gluten-free, paleo-certified baked goods from English muffins to pizza crust and tortillas across 3,500 stores nationwide, including Walmart and Whole Foods. Sales top $5 million. The Culinary Institute of America alum is hyper-focused on taste after working previously at acclaimed restaurants The French Laundry in the Napa Valley and Eleven Madison Park in New York City.
