Bulbrite began when Andrew Choi came from South Korea to the United States to chase the American Dream in the 1960's. He opened a lightbulb shop in downtown New York City that has grown into a flourishing cornerstone of the lighting market. Now, his daughter, Cathy Choi, carries on the literal torch as the company's leader.
