Though "Try Harding" is generally seen as over the top and nerdy, "Try Harding" is also usually not seen as a bad move to progress upward throughout life. However, after try harding throughout high school, I'm not sure this is necessarily true. Now, this isn't to say that putting in a lot of work is useless, but something more important then the work itself is the reasoning behind it. And, the truth is, most people who are try harding in school or their career are doing it for external superficial reasons whether for the money or the social validation. This in part leads to terrible job satisfaction across the world with 85% of people hating their jobs. Considering the deep mental dissatisfaction rampant across the world, people should spend more time understanding the reasoning behind their efforts and if it is truly worth it for themselves. This video analyzes the various drawbacks of being a try-hard throughout high school and life and differentiates between where it is appropriate and where it is inappropriate.
