Cameras in the iPhone have progressed considerably over the years, but so have the apps you can use to process your photos. Getting the shot just right requires a good starting image — one that's well exposed and sharp. After that, you can play with various HDR processes and move on to filters that add personality and texture to an image. Add a little sharpening, adjust the color temperature, tweak the contrast, and you've got an image that stands out from a run-of-the-mill mobile photo. More from The Verge:
