Nobel laureate and Stanford Professor Myron S. Scholes says some countries are likely to leave the euro so they can become more competitive. Scholes was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Science in 1997, along with Robert C. Merton, for his work on a new method to determine the value of derivatives.
