Mark Dwight steered San Francisco's iconic bike messenger bag maker Timbuk2 back from the brink of bankruptcy to profitability, and a $20 million sale to private equity investors in 2005, before leaving to start his own company Rickshaw Bagworks. He's a passionate advocate for the "maker movement", who believes that micro-manufacturers, like his small cut-and-sew factory in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood, are the future of American manufacturing.
