Ross Lipstein has spent the past few years studying the neuroscience and psychology of how we receive and process information. He turns this information into a tale of two characters, with the King of Wishful Thinking and Eager Updater dueling for attention in our heads. He takes us on a ride with these companions from frustrating customer service lines to relationships to business, leaving us with tangible steps we can take to readjust the volume of these characters to be more clear-sighted and effective in our lives.
