Each year, over 1.2 million people die on our roads. Over 93% of these deaths are caused by human error. Yet, despite the availability of autonomous vehicles that can significantly reduce accidents and make our roads safer, we fear losing control of our own driving to computers. In this LOWkeynote talk, Ophir Samson presents the some of the real rewards and risks of adopting autonomous vehicles using statistics, magic and behavioral psychology.
