Phil Pompa was awarded the Jerry I. Porras Latino Leadership Award at the annual Hispanic Business Students Association (HBSA) banquet at the Stanford Graduate School of Business on March 9, 2013. Mr. Pompa is a venture partner at Cielo Private Equity Funds. He earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1982. The award celebrates the history and presence of the Latino community at the GSB and honors and encourages leadership in business as well as in the greater Latino community. The banquet also helps to unite alumni with current students, faculty and administrators, and fosters personal bonds critical to the success of our communities.
