Thomas Higginbotham, MS ’20: Algorithms used in machine learning and artificial intelligence have an increasingly large influence in our daily lives. But trusting them without understanding the risks and tradeoffs can scale injustice and inequality. Harnessing the potential of these technologies and making better decisions with algorithms starts by trusting them less.
