This video is a teach-in with Alex Grant, investigating Tesla's Lithium Clay. Alex’s focus is decarbonizing the battery supply chain and he’s one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy. He’s a principal at Jade Cove Partners, Technology Innovation Advisor at Zelandez, Lithium LCA Partner an Minviro, and was previously VP of Technology at Lilac Solutions. I discovered Alex earlier this year when I was learning about mining and he wrote a great article after Battery Day on the methods that can be used to extract Lithium from Clay with Salt.
