On the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, The History Guy recalls the forgotten history of the profession of firefighting.
"A History of Firefighting" was originally posted by The History Guy on September 11, 2019. This version of the episode contains a new introduction and conclusion, additional content, and updated list of names of firefighters who died on 9/11 and a list of New York firefighters who have died since of medical complications due to the 9/11 attacks.
