If you’ve been following my channel, you’ll see that I have created a number of videos recently that look at The Sphinx complex and my latest looked at the Temple of Amenhotep II, which contained the earliest depiction of the Aten sun disk, which later became the iconic image of Akhenaten’s new state religion.
But searching through historic books on The Great Sphinx at Giza, the new religion, which began with the Cult of the Sphinx, seems to have its foundations with Thutmose I, the great grandfather of Amenhotep II.
I believe it was Thutmose I's daughter, Hatshepsut, who discovered the Biblical Moses in a reed basket on the River Nile, a slave Hyksos baby who grew up to become Pharoah Hatshepsut's closest advisor - Senenmut. I believe the Israelites were the remnants of the Hyksos, who were defeated and banished by the first dynastic king of the 18th dynasty, Ahmose I and it was Thutmose who ordered the deaths of the firstborn sons of the Israelites.
