摘要
The Great Sphinx of Ancient Egypt is not the monument it once was, and I’m not talking about how it looks today compared to how it looked in the 18th dynasty, Old Kingdom or beyond; I’m talking about how it once looked less than 100 years ago.
Egyptologists today and ancient history text books fail to mention some key facts from discoveries by antiquarians and historians. For example, there are are least five entrances into the Sphinx or around it. There was wood from a sarcophagus found in a chamber inside the rump, that more than one historian has recorded. A doorway was discovered in 1926 in the north side of the Sphinx, a subterranean chamber between the paws and a shaft at the back, now blocked by cement.
But was the Sphinx originally a lion, Anubis, a person or none of the above? In historic photos from the archive, if you look at the weathering just 100 years ago, the Sphinx looks nothing like any sort of animal and the paws are probably later additions.
In this groundbreaking new video, I uncover the lost history of The Sphinx, and as it is left out of all of the history books, this is clearly the information 'they' don't want you to know.
