摘要

Archaeologists have announced the discovery of a highly developed site that is approximately 9,000 years old, a find that could change the history of the Middle East. The oldest parts of the site could be as old as 9,000 years, with a huge Bronze Age ‘Megalopolis’ being the next phase of building at the site. This story has hit the news in October 2019, whereas this video documents the earliest reports from the site earlier in the year. The site is located 3 miles west of Jerusalem, near the town of Motza, this stone age site measures about a third of a mile in length and is thought to have been home to 2,000 to 3,000 people in pre-history. The size of the site is extraordinary for the stone age and it would have been regarded as a metropolis. The settlement was located in a fertile valley that has been continuously inhabited for 20,000 years but until now, it was believed that there was never any major settlement in the Neolithic era. Watch the video to learn more about this exciting discovery that is sure to re-write history. All images are taken from Google Images for educational purposes only.
