摘要
Thousands of years before Harry Potter entered Olivander’s, the ancient Egyptians had already mastered the art of wand making. Through archaeological excavations, it is known that wands were common in the Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt and were often featured in burials.
Although they do look more like boomerangs or throwing weapons, all evidence says they were ceremonial as Egyptian throwing sticks have been found to have a different shape and made of a different material.
