You may have seen the report on this discovery earlier this week on The Lost History channel: https://youtu.be/XsPQZT3M45w which goes into more detail and would urge you to watch, but I also wanted to make a video about the discovery so I have a record on my channel.
The discovery is major - that of more than 220+ Terracotta Warriors in China’s so called ‘City of the Dead’, which is close to the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
As we start 2020, a new batch of life-size clay figures have been found by a team of archaeologists at the emperor’s mausoleum, in one of four burial pits that surround the site. Apparently the soldiers come from five different ranks and a number of new ranks were also discovered, including one known as ‘lower than the lowest’. Watch the video to learn more!
