This is another video from the archive as I work to tidy up the ancient architects channel, and pick out old videos with little views that I think deserve more attention, and this is one such video.
It was made around 2 years ago and touches upon some somewhat controversial ideas concerning ancient Mesopotamia and the writings of the Old testament, ideas that will divide viewers, but I hope they at least make us think and lead us to research the subject for ourselves.
Of course, just about every culture has a great flood myth, but the writings from Ancient Mesopotamia and The Old testament mirror each other in a number of ways, and one could well be the course of the other, ideas that I discuss in this video.
To the Ancient #Sumerians, Enki was regarded as one of the most important deities, and was one of the three most powerful gods in the Sumerian pantheon and he features heavily in the Sumerian creation myth and is known as The Eridu #Genesis.
The myth contains the story of The #GreatFlood, the Biblical tale that originates in Sumer. In this video I reveal the original flood story and the true identity of Noah, who built the ark to save mankind.
