摘要
The tomb of the 18th dynasty king, Tutankhamen, famously discovered by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon, is the smallest of all the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. It does not follow the general plan for tombs and it is thought to have originally been for a high-ranking, non-royal figure, possibly a female.
The burial chamber is the only room inside the tomb that is decorated. Experts believe that the paintwork was rushed and the tomb was closed before it was dry, causing mould to grow on the painted walls.
We have all seen the pictures of the tomb, which include a number of gods, such as Anubis, Osiris and Isis, Pharoah Ay, 12 baboons, the Khepri Scarab and so on, but what do the accompanying hieroglyphs next to these figures say? Watch this video to find out. Please like, comment and subscribe.
