摘要

The subject of this video is something that is often brought up on social media when discussing the 11,500-year-old Pre-Pottery Neolithic site of Gobekli Tepe, and that’s comparisons to other Megalithic sites around the world. One comparison that has really gained some traction over the years is the stone enclosures on the Balearic island of Menorca. These structures are the product of the Talaoitic Culture, a Bronze and Iron Age society that lived on the easternmost Balearic Islands. The culture first appeared at the end of the second millennium BC. What I’m looking at in this video are the oval or horseshoe-shaped sanctuary complexes, with a large T-shaped 'Taula' structure in the centre, and their apparent similarities to enclosures at Gobekli Tepe. Is there a connection, or is it all just coincidence? I'll give you my opinion in this video. All images are taken from Google Images for educational purposes only.
