Harvard i-lab | Perspectives of Social Entrepreneurs, and New Venture Competition Finalists

In this panel discussion we hear from DJ Dionna, founder of Entrepreneurial Finance Lab (EFL), and Lissy Hu, founder of Careport Health, on their experiences transitioning from students to successful social entrepreneurs. Both were applicants in the 2012 HBS New Venture Competition and although only Careport Health won the competition, both ventures are still operating and growing by the day. Each shares his/her perspective on the process of developing, and amending, a social enterprise business plan, as well as what it takes to manage the bumps in the road as one's venture gets off the ground.
