Join keynote speakers Robert and Jonathan Kraft, Founder, Chairman and CEO, and President, respectively, of The Kraft Group, owner of the New England Patriots, in kicking off the 2015 Deans' Innovation in Sports Challenge. The Challenge invites students from across the university to develop ideas to improve the sports industry, the careers of those who work in it, and the lives of those who enjoy sports as practitioners and spectators, both on an amateur and professional level, and both in the United States and around the world.
Students will have the opportunity at the Kickoff to network with other like-minded folks at Harvard and begin exploring ideas and partnerships to apply to this Challenge in one of five categories:
-Athlete and Athletic Performance
-Career and Health during and after Sports
-Improving the Fan Experience
-Re-thinking the Sports Industry
-Sport and Social Impact
The Challenge is co-chaired by Dean Nitin Nohria of Harvard Business School and Bob Scalise, Director of Athletics at Harvard University.
A variety of workshops and networking events will offer participants numerous opportunities to strengthen their ideas, teams, and ventures throughout the Challenge timeline. More information on the Challenge and programming can be found here.
