摘要

I’m experimenting with a new type of video format. This is more of a deep dive into recent events I think are significant and I think have big future implications. It is a lot of work to come up with the topic and angle and to fully produce it from start to finish. Fortunately AI is helping a lot with the process and it would be too laborious without its help. But just know I’m very involved in the entire process. I’ve experimented with recording my voice but also with using a cloned voice and there are clear pros and cons to both. For this video I’ve chosen to go with a cloned voice at my permission. Personally I think it’s great. But I know some might not like it. Just wanted to be transparent. Anyway, as I experiment with new video formats, I hope you can extend some flexibility since each video format might be very different and it might take some time getting used to. Anyway, I appreciate all those who’ve been subscribers and viewers of my channel over the years. Hacking has moved to machine speed. So who protects us now: people, or 24/7 AI security guards? This video looks at the past few weeks of breaches, then at the bigger questions: what it means for your phone and laptop, for the cloud, for small companies, and four ways this could play out. 0:00 One person, a swarm of AI agents 1:23 October: the month the machines showed up 3:40 Machine speed: why people can't keep up 4:50 The guard that never sleeps (and how it gets tricked) 7:02 129,000 broken windows: AI finds holes faster than we fix them 7:42 The PHP bug that took websites offline 8:47 What it means for you 9:49 The cloud is becoming everyone's security guard 10:15 Small companies lose their best defense 10:56 Four futures 11:00 Future 1: The spam ending 11:29 Future 2: The flash crash 11:54 Future 3: The great split 12:13 Future 4: The gatekeepers 13:21 Whose machine?
