Live Grok Bot Demo And Big Announcement

Here is a summary of the video transcription, incorporating all news, facts, analysis, estimates, and opinions mentioned by the host, Stephen: * **Soft Launch of SMR Merch Store:** Stephen officially soft-launches his new merch store at `smrmerch.com`, utilizing a new shipping provider to replace his previous one, whose shipping times eventually became absurd and caused him to stop promoting the store. The entire store setup, including handling tax documents, regional demographics, listings, titles, descriptions, tags, and categories, was completed with the assistance of GrokBot. * **Store Inventory and Pricing:** The store features eight live products, with a ninth limited-edition product being added during the live demo. The best-selling products of all time by far are the "Don't Bet Against Elon" mugs (described as great conversation starters and gift ideas) and caps, followed by shirts. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars on the store and adjust to the user's currency. * **GrokBot Live Demo Product:** Stephen and MerchBot (GrokBot) collaborate in real-time on a live demo to create a limited-edition GrokBot-inspired t-shirt for the merch store: * **Design & Vectorization:** Stephen drops a screenshot of the GrokBot logo into the chat. MerchBot vectorizes it into a clean EPS with 12 points, using brand alpha green (`#00FFDC`) for the logo while making the black segments transparent. After some back-and-forth eye-shape corrections requested by Stephen, the final graphic is scaled to 80% width. * **Merch Setup:** MerchBot creates a draft product on Printful and Shopify for a plain black t-shirt (available in sizes XS through 5XL). The pricing is set to Stephen's ladder starting at $39.95 and going up to $51.95. * **Gallery & Description:** The product listing uses front-on model shots (removing side and back shots) and features an isolated shirt-on-white image as the second gallery shot. The title is set to "Grokbot T limited edition" (later corrected to "grok bot T limited edition"), and the description features a bolded opening sentence detailing the seven-day limited window and its origin from a live demo. * **Limited-Edition Window & Automation:** The item goes live on the store at 1:14 PM Sydney time. MerchBot sets up an automated daily check via the API to automatically pull the product back to a draft state exactly seven days later, originally timed for 3.15 PM Sydney time, and subsequently updated by Stephen to 4:20 PM Sydney time. * **Future Availability & Timelines:** The GrokBot limited-edition t-shirt is available for seven days only, closing at 4:20 PM Sydney time on Thursday, October 22, 2026 (corresponding to 1:14 AM US Eastern time and 10:14 PM US Pacific time on the same date). Other variations themed on the GrokBot logo may be available later.
