She was a chiropractor, her husband Danny ran a tree service business, and they were just looking for a place where their five kids could run around and enjoy being outdoors. Neither of them had any experience in agriculture, but when they found 70 acres in Florida, they decided to give it a shot. It all started with four cows and a couple of donkeys they bought as family pets. They didn’t know much about raising animals, so they asked their neighbors for help and learned as they went. One thing led to another, and nine years later, those few animals grew into over 200 livestock, a growing wagyu herd, and a farm store averaging $10,000 a week in sales!
