The City Without Sewers | Tanzania: Inside Dar es Salaam's Toxic Slums | Free Documentary
Most Dangerous Ways To School - Uganda: https://youtu.be/5vhY-y1ErZw
On the outskirts of Dar es Salaam, millions of people live in sprawling informal settlements where clean water, toilets, and sewage systems can be difficult to access. Families crowd into tiny homes, children navigate open drains filled with wastewater, and something as simple as collecting drinking water can become a daily struggle. This documentary goes inside these communities to reveal the realities of life in one of Africa’s rapidly growing cities—and follows the residents trying to build a better future despite poverty, disease, and a severe lack of basic infrastructure.
