Mysterious Features at the Red Pyramid Reveal Ancient Engineering!

Last month in nature’s ‘Heritage Science’ journal, a brand-new study was published (linked below) with claims that apparently shed light on some strange landscape features close the Red Pyramid of Sneferu, features that are believed to have been built some four and a half thousand years ago. The new study got media headlines around the world, the observations that were published look to be fair and valid, yet some experts are worried about where the study is leading. This is because the same authors released another paper last year, claiming that the building of the Step Pyramid was done with the aid of water, powering a hydraulic lift at the centre of the pyramid. But if we take the landscape observations and interpretations in Dahshur seperately, it does appear as though the authors of the new study are onto something, and we can see how the landscape was engineered to protect Sneferu's bold pyramid project of the Red Pyramid.
