摘要
Listen as professor William P. Barnett and Stanford student Milian Chen host a discussion with Olav Sorenson, the Joseph Jacobs Chair in Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA, to discuss the takeaways from an academic conference held at Stanford GSB on March 9–10, 2026.
The Stanford Conference on Environmental Entrepreneurship brings together researchers and practitioners focused on creating a sustainable world economy through social or commercial entrepreneurship.
This conference seeks to bring together innovative scholars and practitioners who are working on creating a sustainable world economy through entrepreneurship — broadly defined to include social as well as commercial entrepreneurship. Scholars are invited to submit research papers, and practitioners are invited to submit a description of their efforts. We encourage submissions from anywhere in the world, and from all sectors of human activity, including the public sector, non-governmental organizations, and not-for-profit organizations, as well as profit-seeking startups.
The Stanford Initiative on Business and Environmental Sustainability Research Conference Series is hosted by Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.
