Welcome to Electrified, it's your host, Dylan Loomis. I think it's quite encouraging when you step back and take a look at the improvements that version 13 has made relative to V12, the areas that V12 needed some work, V13 has made improvements. We've known emergency vehicle situations can be a challenge, and with version 13, there are multiple clips showing improved handling of these scenarios. School buses and their stop signs were also a challenge where FSD wouldn't stop at all in some scenarios, but this time around, rather than ignoring these stop signs, FSD seems to be obeying them. But one area where so far version 13 still needs some work is adjusting to speed zones, specifically when there are flashing lights.

You may have seen some pictures of Teslas in the snow where they have the B pillars doing a better job of melting the snow thanks to their new heating system. Tesla engineer Eun Tossai said the system integration team does a lot of the energy and thermal optimization across the entire vehicle to optimize autonomy. This is just one example, the heating is actually more complex than just heating it up. And he went on to say that Tesla has also written software for its factories. So we are all used to Tesla's vertical integration and continuous optimization at all different levels of the company. But that level of risk taking in talent acquisition is still largely foreign to most of the legacy OEMs.

And one more highlight clip from version 13 that not too many people have seen. Oh wait, excellent. Oh he's doing a Miami thing. Oh wow. He has to make a left. So So glad that I got the wrong video. And on top of all of the excitement around Tesla's FSD version 13 right now, there might be something going on with the audible version of Grock. Now Nima said that soon X would allow you to talk to Grock, but that's already been a feature at least for iPhone users for some time. So I just wanted to make it clear that if there is any actual news here, it would likely be that maybe this feature is coming to Android users as well. However, at least from this post, there is no indication that Grock is going to start spitting out answers audibly back to us, at least not yet.

And I've said in the past, that's the main feature I would want in my Tesla vehicle, the ability to audibly talk to Grock to ask the questions, and then it speaks the answers back to me. And for that feature, as far as I can tell, we still have nothing official. So just don't be misled by this post, because I think some others were getting confused. If you still know people that are of the camp that X AI is not going to be beneficial to Tesla, at the bare minimum, you can say that X AI is a customer of Tesla. And X AI engineer shared this picture reiterating that Colossus and Memphis does indeed use Tesla megapacks to power that supercomputer. Plus, just recently an LLC affiliated with X AI was looking to buy a pretty large plot of land next to the Colossus site that's already in Tennessee. This would be a 552 acre property located just southeast of the existing X AI facility. Then speaking of that new land, the X AI engineer said megapacks are already deployed at the current site, but that's not to say that the additional site will not also have them.

I'm sharing all of that as a bridge of sorts to this news that we got today, X AI has just raised another $6 billion in a series C round. Sadly, at least for me, Tesla is still not listed as one of the raised partners. Which yes, I know should be obvious because it's likely that Tesla shareholders will have to hold a vote if Tesla is ever going to do something like investing in X AI. Every now and then, I think it'll be important to check in on X AI because over the long term, this is going to be a very symbiotic relationship between X AI and Tesla. In the blog post, X AI said Grock 3 is currently training and we're now focused on launching innovative new consumer and enterprise products that will leverage the power of Grock, Colossus and X to transform the way we live, work and play. Depending on who you ask, X AI could be valued in the neighborhood of about $50 billion as a post money valuation after this series C when just back in May it was valued around $25 billion.

And the last thing I'll say for now, just remember, this is not just about getting Grock in Tesla vehicles, although yes, I think that would be an incredible feature. This also has a lot to do with the long term functionality of Optimus. To be clear, Elon has said in the past that you would be able to ask Grock things in Tesla's when we pair that with the fact that Elon has also expressed aspirations for Optimus to understand and act on spoken instructions. I think that's what we're looking for. Elon has said he wants Optimus to respond to complex commands, something like pick up that bolt and attach it to the car using that wrench. So it may be a little ways off, but to me, it seems pretty clear this is where everything is headed. Rocks AI is not going to run natively in the Tesla vehicle and likely not on Optimus, but that doesn't mean that they can't send those requests to the servers and then bring the information back.

Tesla charging said that 630 plus stalls at 50 plus sites are forecast to open in 2025 across Canada. And here is the complete list of all of the different locations and number of stalls. So for my Canadians, go ahead and pause the screen if you'd like. And in case you're near Bakersfield, California, Prim Nevada, El Centro, California, or Cambridge, Ohio, you'll have an opportunity to check out these mega pack chargers deployed for the holidays. There was a neighbor in Portland that left this note on their neighbor's Tesla vehicle, basically saying they need to buy a different electric vehicle because they're subject to vandalism because of Elon, to which Elon said anyone who vandalizes a Tesla will have a criminal record. Go ahead, make my day.

Now I'll be honest, I'm not sure if Elon means something new is coming regarding these scenarios, but figured how it would pass it along. In case you want to listen to the entirety of the Cybertruck Engineer Q&A that was held a few days ago, I'll have the full video linked below. Speaking of the Cybertruck, dirty Tesla said the new rear view in the holiday update is nice, there are three preset zooms, or you can pinch to zoom to whatever you prefer. He said the window is now bigger as well. Over the weekend, the official Tesla account said a Robotaxi future is closer than you probably think.

The Biden administration finalized an up to 4.75 billion dollar grant to Samsung to make advanced semiconductors in the US. Although yes, this amount is about 1.7 billion dollars lower than previously expected. They said the chip fab in Taylor, Texas is on track to be ready for 2026 operations. But here's what I think this is pretty neat. With this investment in Samsung, the US is now officially the only country on the planet that's home to all 5 leading edge semiconductor manufacturers, those being Samsung, TSMC, Intel, SK, and Micron. This could also be even more relevant because there has been speculation that Samsung will make Tesla's AI5. And the word has been, it would be on a 4 nanometer process. Tesla's AI4 uses a 7 nanometer process from TSMC, and before that, hardware 3 used a 14 nanometer process from Samsung. The latest news we have on this is that Tesla is looking to use both TSMC and Samsung 4 AI5. And at a meeting on this subject, the word was that the chairman of Samsung offered Elon terms, including favorable contract prices that Elon could not refuse. Just keep in mind, what we're seeing with Tesla's version 13 is really just the beginning of actually utilizing some of the capabilities of AI4.

This has been my morning routine lately. Bible in prayer with my wife, make breakfast, then make my AG1, which I like to sip all afternoon, and read Tesla and Elon Fudd from Fred Fuddstone himself. So yeah sorry guys, I'm in a cult if you didn't know. Then I just laugh and move on and go get a little workout and get the blood flowing. I'll just say you really don't need as much as you may think, you just need to learn how to feel your muscles, but more on that later. And listen, I know some of you are like, what does Dylan actually know about fitness, and to all of you, I just want to say for now, stick around into 2025. In real talk, for those that do try to support the channel, I cannot thank you enough, and it's just a reality without you guys being so supportive, trying out different sponsors, this channel would not exist as it does today. And it's true, this may be one of your last chances to do that via AG1, depending on how things go. So if you've been waiting, now would be a great time to kick off 2025 prioritizing your well-being. And I can talk about the 75 vitamins, minerals, and probiotics in every serving all day, but the truth is everybody's body reacts differently to stimulus. And you won't necessarily feel like you're taking a pre-workout, but just because you don't feel something in a few weeks does not mean your body isn't doing the behind-the-scenes tasks better. You know, the stuff that goes unfelt for decades until you feel it. So just keep that in mind, and as always, learn to try things for yourself. Come to your own conclusions based on the data, like my man here, who is 55, he measures his data and the results are better when on AG1. And right now, AG1 is still offering that surprise limited edition gift in addition to the welcome kit when you first subscribe. So you can head to drinkag1.com slash electrified to check it out while supplies last.

Today, Honda and Nissan are expected to announce the start of those business integration talks. They're aiming to finalize everything by June 2025, and if successful, a joint holding company will list its shares while Honda and Nissan will each go private in August 2026. We don't have many details yet, but one post-merger initiative could be Honda supplying Nissan with hybrids in the American market. Now, I'm sure you're all very excited about this merger and all of the juicy details, but I'm sure we'll get more in the weeks ahead. If you're a current Hyundai EV owner or you plan to buy one on or before January 31st, 2025, you'll have the ability to request a free NACS adapter. They did confirm Hyundai's Ionic 5 is the first non-Tesla vehicle on sale to feature a factory installed native NACS port. On Tesla's official page, they do not yet have Hyundai listed as other companies that can access the Supercharger network, so it sounds like that'll be coming in quarter one as well. As Sawyer said, you can now redeem a monthly FSD subscription using your Tesla referral credits.

Toyota has decided to build a new factory to make Lexus electric vehicles in China. Toyota has ordinarily worked through joint ventures for production in China, but this time around, the factory will be operated independently. Toyota aims to start operations at the new plant around 2027. We knew this one was coming, but now it's official California's new car dealers association is taking aim at VW and scout motors. The dealers association has requested that scout motors stop taking deposits for its upcoming EVs. Those vehicles are not set to enter production until 2027, but this saga is likely going to play out in the courts. Just to make it official, Lithium Americas has closed on its joint venture with GM for their Thacker Pass mine partnership. Under this deal, GM would contribute $625 million to the project for a 38% stake in Thacker Pass in the form of cash in a credit facility. It's important to note that Trump did actually approve this mine during his first term. During the first year of operation later this decade, it's expected to produce enough Lithium for about 800,000 EVs per year. This chart showing the global automotive industry by market cap was shared and Elon had some comments.

He said, with a lot of work and good ideas, I think it could exceed the value of all transport companies, excluding SpaceX. Of course, the company he was referring to was Tesla. So if you take the entirety of the global auto market, it has a market cap of roughly $3 trillion. Tesla's market cap right now is $1.38 trillion, so it's approaching that 50% mark of the entire global auto industry. But one distinction I wanted to add, Elon did say the value of all transport companies as if space companies could be included in that number as well. But by that logic, then are airlines included in this transport category? I think you could at least make the argument. The global market cap of the airline industry probably isn't as big as you may expect, it would likely add maybe $500 billion of total valuation. But to keep it simple for today, this is effectively Elon saying that if things go well, Tesla could absolutely reach a market cap of $4 trillion plus. But if you've been following along, you'll know that's not really news, this is just a confirmation and an updated one of those expectations.

The NASDAQ 100 did another reshuffling of its constituents because of the run up of some of these companies. One of those is Tesla, meaning some of these index funds and passive investments that follow the NASDAQ 100 likely have been and will be selling some Tesla to rebalance. Tesla's supercharger voting is now open for the winter, I'll have this link below if you want to cast your votes. Tesla stock closed the day at $432.69 up.49% while the NASDAQ was up.98%. The volume was 25% below the average. That will wrap up today's portion of the electrified video, and don't forget if you're looking to check out AG1, take advantage of that free gift right now, my link is below, and as always, I really appreciate you supporting the channel in that way. Now, I hope you all stick around, but I just want to share a story of something that happened to me recently.

So, I was at the barber shop, and my barber and I have developed a pretty close relationship over the past few years. He's a little bit older, and he had a pretty rough upbringing as a child, but we were talking about plans and goals for 2025, and I was sharing mine and kind of what I'm excited about. I asked him about his, and he told me a little bit, but then he went on to say that really no matter what he thinks about her plans or tries to get excited about, he still feels empty. Long story short, he actually went on to say that he literally Googled what is the meaning of life. Now, some important context, he's a very optimistic person. He has a very successful shop, a bunch of employees. He's married with kids. They're all happy and healthy. He has hobbies. He likes to work out. He has some close friends, so by all of these worldly standards, he has a very successful life, but he already has money. He's realized he's not motivated by that anymore, and it was one of those moments where he stopped to cut and came around and kind of looked at me like this and said, no matter what I think about, I still feel empty. And look, some of you out there may not share that experience of feeling empty, but what I would challenge you with is have you ever stopped and slowed down and really contemplated your life? What's really important to you? Have you asked yourself why you're doing the things that you're doing and spending your life the way that you are? All I'm trying to say is I think it's very easy to get caught up in the autopilot of the day to day with work and job and families and to do this and to never really stop and contemplate the serious things of life. And yes, of course, I went on to tell him about Jesus as I had actually done a few times in the past as well.

Now, at this point, I think a lot of you know where I'm going with this, but look, I just want to be clear. I know that Christians can be very annoying. They can come off as judgy, high and mighty, their way or the highway, all the while, you know, they're so hypocritical because they say one thing and do another. Then you layer in this man made religion and all of the scandals over the years and you think to yourself to believe in this stuff, you really have to be off the deep end. And the thing is that was me until I was 22. And I know a lot of you would say, you know what, if you want to do the Christian thing, that's fine. Do your own thing, whatever makes you happy type of deal. But don't tell me about it. I'm not interested. I don't want to hear about it. I don't want your world view forced on me, which at face value, okay, whatever, fair enough. But the problem with that is if I believe what the Bible says, then I have to share the message.

It would be incredibly cruel not to at least share what I've learned the Bible teaches. Here's an example. Let's say that you or a loved one has cancer and your doctor actually has the cure, but it's somewhat of a controversial cure based on how they do it. There would be a lot of pushback if this ever became public, but he knows that he has the cure. However, he decides not to share it with you or your loved one due to that perceived pushback. So this doctor has the cure to heal you or your loved one, but chooses not to share it. That would be incredibly selfish and if you ever found out, I'm sure you would not be happy. The truth is the Christian faith is the same way except it's even more impactful because it has eternal consequences. So it's just something that I have to do and not just that. It's something I want to do because of the hope and joy and peace that I have found in Christ.

And I'll be honest, these segments are so hard for me to do because I feel like there are so many things I want to say and talk about, but to compress that into a few minutes is incredibly difficult. So just a few things I want everybody to know. First of all, my faith is my own. It's not because I grew up a certain way. It's not because somebody told me to believe it. It's not because of any one thing. And yes, I know that theologically faith is a gift from God. We can't do anything to earn it or to get it ourselves. I'm just talking from a worldly perspective. So in college, I knew somebody was right about what happens when we die. And I also know that we're only here for a short time and eternity is forever. All I knew was that it would make sense to spend some amount of time trying to find out the right answer to that question what happens when we die. So for five years, starting in college, I was reading, asking questions, researching like a madman, trying all sorts of different worldviews and trying to get to the truth.

So one of the most important things I want you to know is that Jesus was 100% a historical figure to anybody trying to argue that Jesus was a myth or he never existed. You would be laughed out of any academic institution. There are even non biblical sources that talk about the existence of Jesus, what he taught, and about his death on the cross. There are also non biblical sources like Josephus and Tacitus that talk about Jesus's followers claiming to have seen him resurrected. And I've shared a longer version of my testimony in the past. But for me, when the light switch went off was knowing that historically again, you can't disprove these facts because there are non biblical sources talking about Jesus's followers actually ultimately going to their death because they were saying that Jesus rose from the grave.

So ask yourself, would you willingly go to a horrific death for something that you knew was a lie? Personally, I would not. And I'm guessing you wouldn't either. I also want to be clear. I know that there is nothing I can say that can make anyone else a believer. All I can do is share my faith, maybe plant a couple seeds, but ultimately God is the one that has to water that. So all I'm really asking from anyone at this point is knowing that Jesus was certainly a historical figure. You have to answer the question for yourself. Who is Jesus to you? There are only two options. He was either the son of God and God putting on flesh himself, or he was a lying lunatic. This idea that he was a good teacher or a good prophet is just not compatible with what the Bible teaches.

Because yes, in the Bible, Jesus claimed to be God. He claimed to be the Messiah, the only one that can forgive sins past, present, and future. Ultimately, I just want to be a voice that is encouraging you if you haven't spent enough time on your own, exploring who Jesus really was historically. What did he actually teach? What was he really about? Just don't make the most important decision you're ever going to make in your life, which is who is Jesus Christ to you based on what somebody else told you. And second, I just want everybody to know what Christianity really is because it really seems like the world thinks it's something it is absolutely not.

Christianity is not about cleaning yourself up and being a better person and to stop drinking and smoking and to ultimately be good enough to get to heaven. The truth is no one will ever be good enough by their own merits to warrant heaven. That's why God gave us the law to ultimately expose our sin and our incompetence when it comes to being good enough to merit heaven. And that's why in God's love for us, he chose to send his only son, Jesus Christ, to be God himself in the flesh, to be the very representation of God's nature. So if you want to know God's character, look to the person of Christ.

In short, God created the world and it was good. Then man decided to not listen to God and broke that covenant. Then sin entered the world, which we can now see everywhere we look. And the Bible says Romans 3, 23, for all have sinned in fall short of the glory of God and are justified by his grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood to be received by faith. And don't forget all of human history split at the coming of this one person Jesus, B.C., before Christ, an A.D., anodominy, the year of the Lord. This right here is the actual reason for Christmas.

And look, if you're not a believer and you celebrate Christmas, you do you, but at the end of the day, there isn't very much logical consistency in doing so. And I know you may have great childhood memories, but again, if you ask yourself, why are we doing this? You'll be hard pressed to find an answer that makes sense that doesn't ultimately tie back to Jesus. Isaiah 9, 6, for to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be called a wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, prince of peace. And just note the prophet Isaiah wrote that down hundreds of years before Mary ever conceived to give birth to Jesus.

I'll be honest, I have an incredible life. Many of my friends, I'm sure, would love to be in the situation that I'm in. I have a beautiful wife, I have a healthy family, a home that we own, two Teslas, I get to do what I enjoy every day, I don't have a boss, I have an able body where financially secure, I have plenty of friends and basically anything the world can offer, we have it. But the relationship that I found in Jesus Christ, because I spent years genuinely seeking him with my mind and my heart, ultimately, he just rewarded my effort to find him and to know him. And now I have a relationship with him that really is inexplicable, the peace and the joy and the hope and the forgiveness that is found in Christ alone that you will never find anywhere else in this world is something that I have to share with other people.

And guess what? To have all of those gifts and more and to experience this intimate relationship with Christ being fully known by the creator of the universe, all you have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It really should not be hard for all of us to admit that we're all sinners. If all of our thoughts were projected on a big screen for the entire world to see, we would all be incredibly embarrassed. Our thoughts are not pure, especially in the light of a perfect and holy God. And no matter what you've done in your lifetime, there is no sin that can separate you from the love of God.

So all you need to do is confess that you're a sinner, repent of your sins, meaning you genuinely want to turn away from them to do everything in your power to stop living that way. And then reach out and cling to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the one that died the death that we all deserve. So when we put our faith in Jesus, when God looks at us, guess what? He sees Christ's perfection and his perfect life that we could never live. He takes our place. And yes, the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. In Matthew 15, it says, beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves, you will recognize them by their fruits.

Again, I wish I could sit and talk to you guys for the next two hours. But I also need people to know that not everybody that claims to be a Christian actually is. So if you're struggling with this faith thing, because you see so many people claiming to be Christian, but the fruit of their life, you really can't see any of God's qualities, well, there's a good chance that they're not actually born again. Matthew also says, not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my father who is in heaven.

You've likely also heard the verse in Matthew, enter by the narrow gate for the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction. And those who enter by it are many for the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life and those who find it are few. So to land this plane, if you don't yet know the God of the universe, if you don't yet truly in the depths of your soul, know what your purpose is and why you're here and you feel yourself kind of pushing down those desires to find those answers, I would just ask you to try to drop any preconceived notions that you may have heard in your life about who Jesus is about religion and faith and all of that hypocrisy that we touched on.

Just set that all aside because that's mostly just other humans falling short and fix your focus on the person and work of Jesus Christ alone and seek it from a historical perspective. The Bible does say if you seek God with an open mind and an open genuine heart that ultimately you will find him. And I would hope that over the years, you guys would agree that I try to be logical. I try to root everything that I do in data and facts and not get too lost in hyperbole or emotion. I'm just saying I applied that exact same framework, putting aside everything the world wants me to think and believe and I just got to the data and tried to figure it out for myself. Ultimately, that's exactly what led me to meeting the God of the universe Jesus Christ.

And look, over the years, I'm sure I'm going to let you guys down many times because I'm a human, I'm a sinner, I fall short and I need God's grace and mercy every single day. For the usual, I could keep rambling right now. So to try to wrap this up, I just want you to know there is absolutely more to life than I think most people are aware of everything that we've ever seen in this world has a creator behind it. This desk, my computer, my camera, our televisions, everything has been made by someone.

So why wouldn't it hold true that the most complex thing we know our existence, the universe in these galaxies and how if we were any closer to the sun we'd burn if we were any further we would freeze, do you really think that's all just a random accident explosion? Respectfully, as an atheist, you're 100% putting your faith in something to get to that conclusion. And whether you want to admit it or not, deep down, you know that all humans really are created in the image of God, it's written on our hearts, we all have this moral code that oftentimes go unspoken, but we all generally know what's right and what's wrong.

And with that, I just want you to know that you were created in the image of God and he loves you more than you will ever be able to understand. Being a Christian does not mean that everything in your life is just going to work out and everything will be easy. No, oftentimes following Christ is going to be incredibly difficult. It goes against everything that the world is about nowadays. But you realize that Christ is worth it and relationship with him is so much better than anything that this world has to offer. Plus over time you realize that you can trust the Lord in the midst of any worldly storm because he isn't with you and from an eternal perspective, he can and will make all things right.

And I really wish more people would keep an open mind about the Bible because even just as a literary work of art, it's the most incredible book of all time. There is so much timeless wisdom and incredible stories and prophecies that to spend a lifetime not diving into it and trying to understand it is just beyond my comprehension and really is the work of Satan trying to deceive everybody with anything but the truth of God's word, the Bible.

So that's my Christmas message for this year. I share because I truly do care about all of you guys. I appreciate you more than you know. And at the end of the day, I believe what the Bible says and I would love for everybody here to be saved to come to know the forgiveness and the joy of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's available to everybody and I will happily limit my social growth to share the hope and the love that I have found in Christ alone.

May you all have a wonderful and blessed Christmas and you'll hear from me again later this week, Lord willing.
